When it comes to social media, you can never be too careful. If you’re like me, you’ve accidentally liked or shared something you didn’t mean to, causing undue stress.

InstaSnoop is a terrific app that allows you to peruse Instagram without fear of accidentally liking a photo.

You can interact with Instagram normally, but everything you do is private.

Concept and Functionality:

You might not think something like InstaSnoop, by Ziad Ghosn, would be necessary, but there’s nothing worse than creeping on someone’s Instagram profile and accidentally telling them so by liking or sharing a photo.

Snooping isn’t the only reason you would want an app like InstaSnoop. For example, you might want to be able to follow other users without it showing up on your Instagram account.

InstaSnoop lets you easily create a “Snoop List” so you can follow users without actually doing so on Instagram.

The best part about InstaSnoop is the fact that you can optionally open a photo or profile in the Instagram app if you want to interact with something using your actual account.

This option is pretty hard to get to, so it’s not like you’re going to accidentally open Instagram within InstaSnoop.

InstaSnoop iPhone App

InstaSnoop is loaded with quite a few features that aren’t expected from a free social networking app. Along with the ability to create separate snoop lists for photos and users, InstaSnoop includes the ability to link multiple Instagram accounts to the app so you can easily switch between them.

Not only is this great for individuals, but it’s perfect for businesses and professionals alike.

This is usually a paid feature when it comes to Instagram apps, so it’s something that’s definitely worth considering if you’re thinking about using InstaSnoop.

InstaSnoop is available to download from the App Store for free and is designed for iPhone. The app is supported by ads, but you can optionally disable them via a $2.99 in-app purchase.

When it comes to price, this is a bit steep for disabling ads, but I found that the ads aren’t very intrusive and are only located at the bottom of the screen.

Overall, InstaSnoop is an invaluable app for anyone who wants to browse Instagram privately and without fear of accidentally liking a photo or following a profile.

instasnoop.jpgInstaSnoop requires iOS 8.0 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. A small expedite fee was paid by the developer to speed up the publication of this review.
