If you’re like me, you first heard of Twitter in the summer of 2010. The little bird had been floating around since 2006, but about four years into the company launch, this thing really started to take off.

Artists and musicians began live tweeting their performance pieces and shows, and suddenly if you didn’t have an @ in front of your name, you were behind the ball.

Now, tweetary (tweetary for iPad and tweetary for iPhone) from Tappnology (Pty) Ltd, has come out of the gate, and is picking up steam as a must-have full twitter client. This app allows you to archive and annotate important tweets, organize tweets into collections, manage separate accounts and access real-time analytics.

With a hotbed of comprehensive features, tweetary carves out a place as a one stop shop for Twitter fanatics across the globe.

Tweetary iPhone App Review

tweetary iPad App

The latest version of this app has undergone a comprehensive aesthetic overhaul for iOS 7, and is designed with speed and accessibility in mind.

It’s designed for iPhone and iPad, and comes with a pack of 6 separate info-graphics that allow you to gain invaluable insight on how to utilize Twitters, and what your favorite “tweeters” might be doing to leverage their 140 characters to the best of their ability.

It’s easy to hop between accounts, sync to iCloud, access long forgotten archived tweets, and crunch a plethora of miscellaneous data provided by the app.

If you’ve got a Social Media team working for your company, but they have yet to check out tweetary, you’ll want to immediately spring for this app.

It leaves no stone unturned, and generally prides itself on being your source for in-depth Twitter analysis.

With a recent IPO and steadily increasing user-base, tweetary provides the easiest way to maximize your use of Twitter and fully leverage what the platform can offer.

Concept and Functionality:

The only asterisk here, is that the app isn’t necessary for the majority of Twitter users. Beginning Twitter users shouldn’t need more than their 140 characters and a few re-tweets; something as comprehensive as this app might just downright confuse them.

However, for those of you who are looking to boost your account and really see the inner-workings of this miraculous app, tweetary is pretty much a must-have.

Overall Value:

The price tag is substantiated through the clean interface, accessibility, simple importation of accounts, and variety of analytic uses. If you rarely, “tweet”, you can leave this one behind.

But if you can’t get enough and 140 characters hardly contains you, tweetary will let you tweet and soar to new heights.

TQRtweetary (for iPad) requires iOS 7.1 or later. Compatible with iPad.

tweetary (for iPhone) requires iOS 7.1 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. This app is optimized for iPhone 5.
