Supperhero is a free app game from Babel Bat that pits players as “supperheros” against the villain, an evil smelling fridge. With charming characters and a unique storyline, this app is sure to please many iOS users.
As mentioned above, Supperhero is a unique iOS game that gives players the opportunity to actually use calorie consumption to further their success in life/the game.
Supperhero players must carefully plan out the best way to “devour” foods strategically in order to prevent any overpowering smell of rotten food from ever escaping the confines of the evil refrigerator.
Players are given the option of playing as various “supperheros” that all have their own unique special powers, and each main character also comes with a few trusty sidekicks to help get the job done. The “terrain” for each level varies a bit, although the general theme (superhero vs smelly fridge) continues throughout the game.
Other features in Supperhero include the option to compete against other players worldwide for the top supperhero spot; however, creating an account is not actually required in order to play this game.
Personally, I found that playing this game was definitely fun, once I got the hang of it; while the introductory video/slides definitely helped a bit, it still took me some time to fully grasp how to best dominate as a supperhero.
Appearance and Layout:
Just like its storyline, the graphics of Supperhero are also unique and charming. Although just simple cartoons, the characters in Supperhero are stylized so that they are obviously different from those in many other app games; I greatly appreciated this uniqueness.
The layout of the app is also extremely user-friendly, making it perfectly easy to navigate around it even on the first time I tried it out. Game play is carried out on a horizontal iOS screen, and this allows for plenty of space on the screen at any one time without it ever feeling too crowded.
Supperhero is a free iOS game, with optional in-app purchases available for those who wish to further enhance game play. You can go for the IAPs if you like but I found that the free features were all that I needed to enjoy the game, and with its charming graphics and fun storyline, Supperhero really is an app of great value.
Even though its game play might feel a bit repetitive after awhile (despite its various levels), the option to compete against other players around the world helps to make Supperhero an app capable of providing lasting entertainment.
Supperhero iPhone app requires iOS 6.0 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. A small expedite fee was paid to speed up the publication of this review.
