If you’re a new parent or have had your experience raising kids, you’ll know that it can be difficult putting a baby to sleep right away. Be it crying or just plain restlessness, bedtime can become one of the most stressful times of the day.

But now with Baby Songs, a lullaby app by Bipfun, putting your kids to bed will become much easier than ever before.

Concept and Functionality:

We all know how lullabies work. Traditionally, a parent will hover by his or her child and sing a tune, be it “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” or “Rockabye Baby,” until the little baby is fast asleep. Baby Songs, on the other hand, does this for you and more.

When you first open up the app, you’ll get a list of songs in the library, which means that the days of trying to remember a good lullaby are over.

You can choose from a wide variety of songs including Moonlight Sonata, For Elise, Swan Lake and more. Though some of these songs sound more intense than others, Baby Songs has modified the songs in a way that are pleasant on the ears.

Take Moonlight Sonata, for example. Usually a climactic and somber song, on the app, it plays like a music box — gentle, sweet and steady.

Since the app was designed in a way that could allow you to go to bed simultaneously as your young ones, there is an auto-mode that you can pick, so that the app will continuously play through songs without you having to stay awake to pick and choose songs.

The makers of Baby Songs recommend that airplane mode is enabled so that no ringing or pinging will disturb your baby’s sleep, and that the phone is a good distance away from the crib, instead of inside of it.
