Tell My Day, by Vadim Kaipov, combines various little fortune-telling traditions all into one entertaining app that lovers of fortune telling can have lots of fun with. And who doesn’t want to know what’s coming around the next bend?

Like its name suggests, Tell My Day is an app that claims to help users know about the future happenings of their days through its various features.

Specifically speaking, Tell My Day users can choose to pick out fortune cookies, flip a coin, pull the petals off of virtual flowers, or use the Magic 8 ball to find answers to their pressing problems.

Coffee-loving users of the app may also choose to find their answers in the bottom of a virtual mug of coffee—perhaps a somewhat frustrating solution since actually enjoying a pleasant cup of coffee isn’t actually a part of the app.

However, while the initial version of Tell My Day is free, actually using all of the above listed features is not—a minor fee ($0.99) must be paid to unlock the full version of the app. This app supports English, Ukrainian, and Russian.

Appearance and Layout:

The graphics of Tell My Day are definitely an asset of the app. They’re bright, fun, and colorful and make using Tell My Day a pleasant experience.

Drawn in softer pastels, the visuals of this app are definitely easy on the eyes. Using the app is extremely simple, with all the various fortune-telling options already displayed on the home screen, allowing users to quickly choose their favorite option.

Instructions for how to actually “use” each option are also shown, providing no opportunity for confusion.

As mentioned previously, Tell My Day is available for free through the iTunes Store. However, for a full version of the app, users must pay $0.99 in order to unlock all that Tell My Day boasts of offering.

Overall, this app is a fun, quirky little addition to an iOS user’s chosen device. While it probably shouldn’t be used in order to make any really serious decisions, it can certainly be a fun app for anyone who enjoys fortune cookies with friends just for laughs.

tellmydayqrTell My Day requires iOS 7.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. This app is optimized for iPhone 5. A small expedite fee was paid to speed up the publication of this review.
