When raising kids, one of the phases you’ll have to go through is teaching them to brush their teeth. In addition to eating vegetables, for kids, brushing is added onto the list of mundane, daily chores to complete.
But isn’t there a more entertaining way to go about this?
That’s where Brush Brush Cocomong comes in. A half-monkey and half-sausage creature, Cocomong is your child’s friendly tour guide to effortless teeth brushing. Developed by duducs, Brush Brush cocomong is an app that is sure to get your kids excited about brushing their teeth.
Concept and Functionality:
The characters in Brush Brush Cocomong are pretty adorable already, but get this — each one is an animal and food hybrid. Ahrome, one of Cocomong’s cute friends, is a mix between a boiled egg and a rabbit and Ohmong, Cocomong’s pet, is part fried shrimp and part dog.
These creatures inhabit a refrigerator and learn together about various life lessons, including how to properly brush your teeth.
The layout of this app is extremely navigable for kids. The buttons are big and touch-friendly, and all of the accompanying captions use simple and easy-to-understand words so that your child won’t have a hard time with the app.
Though there are a number of features in this app, all of which I’ll go into later, the main draw is the “Brush Brush” option, which goes step-by-step through all the phases of brushing teeth with Cocomong at the helm.
Since the graphics are so great in this app, it’s easy to follow along with Cocomong as he shows thoroughly how to brush, where to brush and in which order to brush. With Cocomong’s help, your child will be able to pick up a toothbrush and brush independently in no time.
In addition to the main tutorial, Brush Brush Cocomong also offers a number of other ways to make oral hygiene a blast.
To teach your child what’s good and bad for your teeth, the Brushing Game involves choosing what Cocomong should eat, and seeing the outcome of what you give him.
So if you’re given the option of an apple, a carrot, a donut and a cookie, based on how Cocomong reacts, your child will eventually learn eating habits that also improve the cleanliness of his or her teeth.
You and your child can also read along with Brush Brush Cocomong’s Story Book, which can be read by you, your child or a narrator. There are also interactive flash cards that, when tapped, will have Cocomong read the word aloud so that your child can learn through hearing.
The video option will take you to an animated short on YouTube in which Cocomong and his friends discover the truth and importance of brushing your teeth.
There never is a dull moment when it comes to Brush Brush Cocomong.
With so many fun things to do all in one app, your child will not only learn how to brush their teeth properly, he or she will learn it with ease and while having lots of fun. Sure, the app is a little pricier than other paid apps, but because it’s intended for kids, there are no in-app purchases that your child will accidentally buy.
In short, Brush Brush Cocomong is a great investment for your child with its high level of interactivity, lovable animated characters and entertainment value.
