Users move animals with their fingertips, which consequently roll and fly across the screen.
The user must tilt the screen at the same time as actually pressing characters on the screen, in an attempt to create the right combination and create rewarding combos, which only stir up the excitement even more.
By matching these colorful little characters and pushing them into the right combinations at the right times, the animals explode, disappear, reappear, become lightning bolts, warp and generally break into pure chaos!
The app is hugely exciting and entertaining, and if you’ve got kids, they might become huge fans of everything Zooper in no time at all.
This game features a never-ending flow of multiple characters into a central area. You have to match the animals by color, and type, and can then receive combo points for doing so correctly.
The best part is this; you tilt and move the screen physically, while actually pushing on the characters using touch-functionality. Between both dynamic processes occurring at once, you have a comprehensive experience treading the thin line between order and chaos.
Then, a huge bird suspiciously reminiscent of Toucan Sam, fly’s into the scene and delivers you to the next stage.
Concept and Functionality:
The game runs like a dream, although at some points the entire experience becomes so hectic, that you might think your phone might flat out burst.
The huge array of movement and colors can be both delightful and dizzying, so it’s up to you to decide how much you can take at once. I think that younger demographics, especially toddlers (if you let them play with your iPhone) would get a huge kick out of Zooper.
The name alone seems to pander directly to younger demographic, and the excitement amongst friendly and fuzzy characters seems to do the same.
For the moment, this app is completely free. And while it may seem like it requires no skill, there is actually a surprising amount of skill required to truly maximize your score in this game.
The duel functionality between tilting and touch makes this game highly dynamic and literally a blast. Zooper has become a favorite and offers endless, electric entertainment.
Zooper requires iOS 4.3 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. This app is optimized for iPhone 5. A small expedite fee was paid to speed up the publication of this review.
