iPhone Game Review by TheiPhoneAppReview.com
White Logos, an app by Mattia Confalonieri, challenges iOS users to successfully color in the logos of famous brands. Featuring logos from many different nations and companies, White Logos challenges consumers to remember the usual appearance of these color-blank brand identities.
White Logos forces players to rack their memories in attempts to correctly color in logos from popular brands/companies. To do this, players must drag colors to their correct locations on the logos. While this might seem simple enough, many of the popular logos are actually a bit harder to remember the color schemes for than you would generally think.
As a whole, I would certainly have to say that I was impressed with the range of challenges in White Logos. However, oftentimes the app seemed to be slow in registering exactly where I had intended to place each color block, and this little factor did occasionally make playing White Logos to be somewhat frustrating.
White Logos features over 200 logo challenges to color, as well as over 20 mini poster-style image rewards depicting how famous logos have evolved over time. Additionally, new logos are added to the app on a monthly basis, keeping it always fresh and up-to-date. White Logos can be played in five different languages.
Appearance and Layout:
The layout of this app can best be described as “basic.” White Logos is simple to navigate and can be played without having to link up the app to a user’s Facebook account. Simple instructions for how to play the app are presented to first time players, and these instructions adequately cover the basic principles of White Logos.
The logos featured in the app range in level of details, from logos with just one color to multi-colored challenges. Setting up the app to best suit your personal preferences is quick and easy to do, as the app is logically arranged. Additionally, all fonts used in White Logos allow for good user readability.
White Logos is currently available for free. As such, no complaints about its price can really be made at all. While in-app purchases can be made to acquire additional logos, the number of logos available for free in the basic version of the app should be more than enough to satisfy the majority of players. While White Logos does have its small flaws, it is still an app that should be capable of entertaining and challenging iOS users for a good period of time.
White Logos iPhone app requires iOS 5.0 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. A small expedite fee was paid to speed up the publication of this review.
