New Simplee Mobile App Empowers People to Manage

App gives patients a trusted on-the-go way to learn what they owe and why

Palo Alto, Calif. – Apr. 11, 2013 – Simplee® launched today a new
mobile app so people can manage and pay all their family’s medical
bills through a smartphone. Key features of the Simplee app include
getting a detailed breakdown of medical bills, confirmation of
deductible or other insurance coverage, and the ability to pay by
credit, debit, or FSA/HSA card.

Simplee is creating a clear, convenient, and trusted billing process
for patients and their medical providers. Extending beyond web
payments, mobile medical payments are better suited for the challenges
patients and providers face at the point of service. Mobile is eagerly
anticipated by Simplee users and will play a central role in Simplee’s
vision for patient payments. Simplee mobile users can check their
deductible status at the hospital or pay an outstanding medical bill
while waiting in the doctor’s office using only their mobile phone.
