Want to teach your children their basic colors and play music at the same time? How about an app that will do both of these on the iOS? Enter PianoBall, for iOS 3.1 or later. How does it stack up? Lets take a look!
With the PianoBall app, users are started off with two types of rainbow themed piano keyboards to choose from. One is geared toward younger aged users, the other is geared for older users. App features include: “Instrument Ball”, “Rainbow”, “Color Ball/Learn Colors”, “Magic”, and “Tune Ball”. With the “Instrument Ball” feature users get to listen to various types of instruments and learn to distinguish which one they are. With “Rainbow” users have the option of turning their piano keyboard into a replica rainbow. The “Color Ball/Learn Colors” features teaches users different colors and allows the interactive feature of painting the piano keyboard to the color of their liking. With the “Tune Ball” feature users can learn to play various popular children songs such as “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star”, “Mary Had a Little Lamb”, and so on. Want to add a little animation to the app? By selecting the “Magic” option, falling star that transform into musical instruments will appear on the screen.
Please note that this app is geared for children users aged nine months to five years old.
The overall appearance of the PianoBall app well not only peak the interest of younger users, but will impress them as well. With bright and cheerful color schemes to the max, this will appeal and thrill. Easy to use and simple for any age user to figure out, this app not only looks good, but makes music learning and color recognition fun as well. With a basic setup and breezy navigable layout, what more could one ask for?
The app’s songs, background music, and sound effects are all spot on and also enhance the overall app.
For the PianoBall app costing $1.99, it can be considered an average deal. Although a bit more on the pricey side, the app has many functions and actions to offer, and for those with little ones, this app will be sure to keep their kids occupied in those long wait lines or when running around doing errands. Not only is it a fun and entertaining app, but it is an app that has its beneficial features such as song playing/music learning and color recognition, and is an app that your young ones will definitely enjoy.
