Looking for an app that allows you to edit and get creative with your photos for free? Then the Photograffiti app from developer Fizzy Pop Apps is just the perfect app for you! It is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad. This app is optimized for iPhone 5. It requires iOS 5.0 or later.

Features:

When you open up the Photograffiti app, you will see four options displayed: “Pictures”, “Sketch”, “Camera”, and “Settings”. With the “Pictures” option you can allow the app to access your photos on your device. With the “Camera” option you can take a photo instantly and use that for the basis of you creation. Once you select the designated photo, you can rotate, crop the photo and utilize drawing tools, insert text, stamps to stick on your photos, or upload and send your photos to someone. Drawing tools include various brush sizes to use, color palettes, drawing assistance, brush erasers, and the option to hide the toolbars. Stamps include masks, speech bubbles, thought bubbles, greetings, pixel heads, pointers, words, and access to the super stamp pack for purchase. You can also align the size and change the color of the text font.

Appearance and Layout:

The Photograffiti app is iPad friendly in the sense that the view can be maximized to 2x the size for optimal viewing. The option icons are obvious and self explanatory, and with the drop down menu options that appear when you tap on the icons help too. Brief instructions appear when you first load each new function screen letting you get a better idea of how things work and what to use them for.

There are ad banners that run along the bottom part of the screen, but they aren’t too distracting.

Value:

Overall, the value for the Photograffiti app is a decent one. It is a simplistic app with a simplistic, but fun purpose. Taking and being in photos is a universal concept, and having the options to edit photos easily and free of charge is inviting. With more than just your basic features for editing and getting creative, not only this app will appeal to users of any age and background, but it will also be entertaining to them as well.

Photograffiti app requires iOS 5.0 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. This app is optimized for iPhone 5. A small expedite fee was paid by the developer to speed up the publication of this review.
