Air it Out: iPhone Written App Review
Have a flight grievance to air or compliment to pay? Now there’s an app for that. The new Air it Out iPhone app from iHubz LLC gives travelers a single source of airline contact in a compact package. So, next time you take to the sky, consider letting your airline know about your experience through Air it Out. This app makes it easier than you might think.
The concept behind Air it Out is really quite simple. Instead of spending time researching your airline or sorting through their website looking for contact info, you can install this simple app and make contacting your airline with compliments or complaints as easy as 1-2-3.
Air it Out houses auto-contact forms that can connect you to the top 50 airlines in the world, or the top 25 airlines in the United States. Listed airlines are based on 2011 passenger estimates, so not only will you find popular U.S. airlines, if you travel internationally you’ll also find global carriers made easily accessible via this simple app. Fly TAM Airlines in Brazil, or IBERIA and have something nice or not-so nice to say? This is definitely the app for that.
This top travel app even lets you input unique details of airlines not listed in the app, although I don’t really see the point of that, other than letting iHubz in on your feedback. I did, however, like the app’s easy to use search feature that helps you find your airline without scrolling through a list.
Layout & Design:
The Air it Out iPhone app is organized in a simple series of bottom tabs. Top airlines are easy to identify by logo. And if you’re not familiar with the airline’s logo, there’s always the handy search tab.
I also liked how the app broke up complaint details into easily navigated drop downs, and let you enter complaint or compliment details in a simple comments section. Warning: the app does ask you for your email address and phone number, so be aware of what you enter, and if you have security concerns check out the About Us tabs for details on how the app works and aggregates.
I did find myself wishing the app had a bit more visual appeal, and think that might be a great addition to this already solid title in the future.
Air it Out has one extraordinary feature: its price. This app is entirely free, and doesn’t run of advertisements either. I think it will be handiest for English speaking travelers trying to find an easy way to log their thoughts on foreign airlines. The Air it Out iPhone app definitely fills a void in the travel app category.
Air it Out iPhone app requires iOS 3.0 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. A small expedite fee was paid by the developer to speed up the publication of this review.
