Japanese Diet Recipes – Low Carb, Easy Cooking – : iPhone App Written Review
When we cook at home, our iPhone is always nearby. This is thanks to a few very important elements, most notably the fact that—through either cooking apps or the web—we can get a mountain of recipes to work with, all of which are kept on that single, convenient screen. Because of this, we’re more stoked than ever to bring you today a new application that delivers healthy, rich, and satisfying meals to our iPhone and cooking companion: The app is called Japanese Diet Recipes – Low Carb, Easy Cooking –. It offers an entire world of new recipes to work with, so if you’re looking for a new way to diet, we strongly encourage you to check out the rest of our review below.
Concept and Functionality
The idea behind Japanese Diet Recipes – Low Carb, Easy Cooking – is relatively simple: The app aims at delivering you a boatload of information and recipes about Japanese food, including instructions that help you cook it. However, it also comes with a bit more than that. You see, it also arrives with a dictionary of common Japanese health terms, explanations of what they mean, and ways in which they can help you improve your life. Furthermore, the app helps you figure out your own body type, which you can then use to select meals, lose weight, and generally improve your own health. It’s a wonderful combination, and comes with quite a lot of fluidity.
For instance, the app makes it incredibly easy to find recipes. You can sort through these by ingredients, images, constitutions (that’s the body type) or by ranking. You can also favorite items that you like, keeping them all in one place for easy and safe keeping. From there, the app also provides a mountain of health and wellness tips, rounding out the experience.
Design and Interface
Best of all, the app looks pretty slick, too! It’s got all the hallmarks of a good cooking app, including tabbed navigation for easy control, recipes listed out in a tabbed list, and rich integration with social networking. However, we really do wish the app came with a simple query bar. We like the filters that are included, but if you’re searching for a single dish, it’d be much easier to simply type in a basic search term and get results that way.
At the end of the day, Japanese Diet is easily one of the best and greatest ways to learn to cook traditional Japanese food from your iPhone. And with the deep well of additional resources that come with the app, we see no reason in the world why you could not improve your standard of living using it. And if that’s not a recommendation to use a cooking app, then we have no idea what is! Get Japanese Diet now and enjoy the rewards. We’ll be doing so tonight ourselves.
Japanese Diet requires iOS 3.2 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. A small expedite fee was paid by the developer to speed up the publication of this review.
