Do4Who: Written iPhone App Review
We all like to be organized for ourselves, but no man is an island, and good chances are that the task you have to complete will most likely involve someone else. Think of a task organizer that will not only simplify, but also categorize your daily “to do” list by importance and time frame. Do4Who from developer Good Binary Ltd. Will do just that for you. It is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, and runs on iOS 4.3 or later.
When the user first loads the Do4Who app, they are prompted with a “Who’s Next” subject title screen with instructions prompting the user to tap a certain area or to tap the plus sign button to add a new task. A new screen will pop up asking the user questions about the task itself such as: who is it for, priority level, deadline time frame, reminder set up, additional notes, and repeat status. When all the related information is inputted in, the user will select the “done” button to complete the entering of the task. You can also select the relationship you have with the person you need to complete the task for.
The now updated version of this app allows the user to set the repeat status of the task on a daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and yearly repeating schedule. The user can also add themselves as a part of their contact list so they can prioritize what they need to do on a personal level. Appearance and Layout:
The appearance of is Do4Who clean cut, obvious, and simplistic. Navigation is easy, as well as the font and instructions are easy to read. The overall color scheme falls into the same simplistic category. There are not that many graphics involved with this app since it is more of an “input” and “execution” type app. The user simply follows the clear promptings and edits the information into the app and they are done.
The overall value of Do4Who is a decent. They are many task organizing related app available on the market, but this app differs in the sense that the user has the ability of prioritizing the tasks that need to be done of others, and not just for themselves.
