Right on the heels of our review of the iPractise English Grammar app from developer Globile is another popular higher education app, iPractise GRE Vocabulary. The GRE, Graduate Record Examination, is a standardized test required for admission to many graduate programs in the United States. Students interested in such higher education often spend a lot of time preparing for this important exam and apps such as iPractise GRE Vocabulary are one of the many study options available. However, unlike many other GRE prep-tools, this is loaded with vocab quizzes, conveniently located in iOS app form, and readily available through iTunes for just $1.99. Interested? Read on!

Like the English Grammar app also under the iPractise banner, iPractise GRE Vocabulary functions as a mini quiz and game app. Basically, you’ll work your way through various difficulty levels, attempting get 70% or more correct along with 3 stars to advance. There’s a timer and a Hint option available as well if you get stuck-but, beware, using the Hint will take away from the stars you can earn on each round.
iPractise GRE Vocabulary  really  features an astounding amount of material to use, with 1230 questions. As any avid student will tell you, the more quiz and practice questions available, the better one can be prepared for an exam. Also fairly impressive is the sheer number of vocabulary “culled from past GRE tests”, at 1230 words according to the developer.
