TellUWhat iPhone App Video Review
If you have ever had the urge to tell someone, “I heard you dressed like a tape dispenser,” or, “You fart like an aggressive chukka stick” then you are in luck. Hilarity awaits you in the TellUWhat iPhone app from Third i Development CC is chock full of laugh inducing sentences.
Give it a whirl. Serious fans can enter to win a top of the line iPad 2 through September 30, 2011. Bet that got your attention! Complete rules are available on the app’s website. So pay attention to my iPhone app review of TellUWhat. You’ll be giggling before you can say, “I’d rather suck the life out of a remarkably fluffy tea pot than soil a somewhat delusional moose with you.”
The folks at TellUWhat input funny words and phrases, then several different sentence formats. You push a button and the funny just comes rolling out. It’s pretty amusing, and surprisingly non repetitive.
Choose one of eight topics for your TellUWhat iPhone app statements, or choose all for more randomized results. Then choose from five different sentence types, or tap the random button to get a little bit of everything.
Personally I like the results from choosing all topics then tapping random in rapid succession. Some lines are funnier than others. Developers also claim the app will receive frequent updates to include more words, so it shouldn’t get dull.
I haven’t seen a randomized line writer app that’s quite this funny before, so kudos to the folks with the TellUWhat iPhone app for creating an app that’s sure to make you smile. You can also save a favorite saying, copy sayings to your iPhone’s clipboard and share via email and text.
Layout & Design:
So the TellUWhat app is a barrel of laughs. You can also flick the screen from side to side to see different themes with ease. There are seven different themes, ranging in style from your basic black and white all the way to bright pink and positively floral.
The layout of buttons stays the same throughout the themes, and each word is easy to read no matter which one you are using. It’s a one screen app. Pretty simple yet effective for what they do.
It’s worth mentioning that the TellUWhat iPhone app functions perfectly on my iPhone 4. I tapped the screen over and over and over and over and it never failed to spout out a hilarious line.
I think this app will be popular at informal parties and gatherings, or next time you’re trying to think of a good comeback in a verbal joust with a seventh grader. Some of the word choices are a little PG-13, hence the app rating of 9+. Just keep it out of your elementary school student’s hands and all should be well.
The TellUWhat iPhone app is available in iTunes for $.99. I think that the chance to win a 64GB 3G iPad 2 is worth that much, and you get an awesome universal app on top of it. Not too shabby.
TellUWhat iPhone app requires iOS 4.0 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. A small expedite fee was paid by the developer to speed up the publication of this review.
