Graphical Layout:

Tilty Fruity has bright, cheerful and sharp graphics. The frogs and their related animations look great, along with the rolling fruit and berries. Even the main menu title screen is animated, with a fun, frolicking frog gracing the design. The layout is easy and simple to navigate, with Start, Help, Scores and a Sound option on the main menu. I didn’t have any problems finding out how to play the game, thanks ot the helpful pre-game hints and simple controls.

Controls:

You’ll need both hands to play Tilty Fruity, as there are two tilt bars at the bottom right and left-hand corners of the screen. Swipe the left bar to tilt the top plank, swipe the right bar to tilt the bottom set of planks. It starts out fairly easy, but gets progressively more difficult as you advance through the game levels. You’ll encounter berry splitters and more interesting elements (shake your iOS device to use your power-ups!) that keep the game fast-paced and fun.

I did notice some lag with the sliders for tilting the wooden planks to roll the berries down. The touch screen area for the sliders just didn’t seem sensitive enough; perhaps a larger slider button would fix this problem. It wasn’t an issue on the earlier levels, but once the game picked up speed it became a little more frustrating.

Sounds:

Tilty Fruity frogs make great satisfied “ribbits” when fed the right berry. The background soundtrack perfectly matches the bright and friendly, yet fast-paced atmosphere of Tilty Fruity.

Value:

For action puzzle fans, it’s hard to beat the immense array of titles available for iOS devices. Tilty Fruity is another game in this genre and it’s a great choice for any fan. There’s plenty to keep even the most die-hard gamer interested, with 30 different game levels of varying difficulty. The developer of Tilty Fruity has crafted a fun, entertaining game app that is certain to be a hit with both young and old.
