Jump into Belly Button Bay, home of the Roodie Noodies, with Roodie Noodies and the Slippery Pole iPhone app! Join in with the beach party fun and try to keep the Noodies on the pole without falling off.

Shellie, Rockie, Lollie and Shoobie are four creatures that live on the beach at Belly Button Bay. They play all sorts of zany games here, including Slippery Pole. Gamers have to tilt their iOS device to keep their Noodie on the pole without falling off, while at the same time working to collect nurdles to reach the next level.

Tilt controls were really responsive and I didn’t run into any lag while playing Roodie Noodies. The levels weren’t particularly long or different, but they were pretty tough. It’s definitely not a game you beat in one sitting, despite its shorter length and younger target audience. I think younger children will love the game play found in Roodie Noodies; it’s not too hard to pick up, but definitely takes some time to beat. Combine that with some entertaining characters and great animations, and you’ll have you children’s attention focused on the Roodie Noodies for quite some time!

Graphical Layout:

Graphics in Roodie Noodies are absolutely top-notch. I couldn’t be happier to see the super well-done cartoony vector art in Roodie Noodies, complete with awesome cartoon animations and scenes. The team behind Roodie Noodies should be commended for how polished their app looks, even on older iOS devices.

Roodie Noodies and the Slippery Pole has some swell music, sound effects and beats. Everything matches the humorous and cheeky nature of this game perfectly.

Roodie Noodies really caught me by surprise. I’ve played a lot of iOS games, but the level of polish and flow of Roodie Noodies was absolutely excellent. Kids will certainly enjoy it!

However, Roodie Noodies is a little light on actual game play length. Don’t get me wrong, it’s really fun and super well done, but there isn’t a whole lot of variety included with this app. There are 4 levels, each progressively more difficult (the later levels are really tough!). Also included are some exclusive Roodie Noodies video clips (complete with plenty of humorous shots, especially of one characters red gluteal cheeks) and custom character wallpapers.

While it may lack value for older gamers, Roodie Noodies still offers a lot of entertainment to children (the target audience of this game app). There’s a lot to laugh at, and this is only the start of the Roodie Noodies series. Developer Complete Control told us they were planning to follow up this game with another related one by June – so stay tuned!
