Andrew Answers is a new childrens book for iPhone and iPad from Ruckus Media Group. A bright and colorful story with fluid animation and visually appealing illustrations, Andrew Answers is written by successful children’s author Alan Katz, and narrated by Marc Summers.
Andrew Answers begins in the school classroom, as Andrew is asked by his teacher to say a word that begins with the letter “N”. When Andrew replies with the word “No” – he is asked to visit the Principal’s office, beginning a journey of alphabetic antagonism that takes him all the way to the Oval Office.
There are two simple little mini games that are integrated within the story that will no doubt help to engage children with the book. Guide Andrew to the Principal’s office by tilting your device from side to side, as well as help Andrew’s parents park in the school carpark.
Andrew Answers features both read-along and narration modes. You simply down on the screen to enable the text or swipe up to remove it. The book can be played out automatically, or you can turn the pages one at a time by swiping from right to left. There are also interactive elements within some pages of the book, allowing your child to touch the screen and view short little animations.
Andrew Answers is an amusing book that will help children with their vocabulary and represents great value at $2.99.
