Verizon iPhone in 2010 ‘Unlikely’

In response to recent rumors that one of two new iPhones in development will be partnered with Verizon, UBS Investment Research analyst Maynard J. Um acknowledged a Verizon launch most likely would not happen in 2010. (via Apple Insider)

Um indicated, however, that a CDMA phone launch with other carriers, like China’s Telecom, is possible. He also said that the new iPhone model to be released this summer may include a touch panel on the back side of the phone, HD video playback and recording, a 5 megapixel camera, improved battery life, and of course, new apps.
