Ummmm. . .huh. Have you ever missed someone so much that you just had to put a big sloppy kiss on. . . a picture of them on your phone? Me neither. Kiss It! by Chandler Gray is a novelty app that allows you to kiss pictures of people.
When you select a picture from your picture roll, or take one from the camera function from within the app, kissing it (or tapping on it with your finger) makes a set of lips appear on the screen and a smooching sound emit from your phone. Short sayings will also appear at the top of the screen, such as “Put some love into it” and “Plant one on me.”
You can also go to another screen where tapping on a picture makes a farting noise, and a small flatulence releasing man appears on the screen. I guess this is meant as some sort of release when you really hate someone, and just can’t find a better passive-aggressive way to get back at them.
Finally, the app lets you email the picture with a saying to someone. The kiss mark, however, does not appear on the emailed picture.
This simple novelty app doesn’t do anything else, at least in the current version. If you like kissing a phone screen like it’s a real person, or being able to hear a fart noise while looking at the picture of someone you dislike, then Kiss It! is for you. If not, then save yourself the dollar.
Kiss It! is compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch and requires iPhone OS 3.0 or later.
