Property Manager App Helps The Juggling Act

Price: $1.99    Score: 9/10    By Michael EssanyProperty Manager

Whether you’re a landlord managing multiple properties or a single homeowner caring for a lone property, Being Properties has introduced a new iPhone application designed to simplify your managerial burden no matter how big or small.

Now available for download, the $1.99 Property Manager application effectively serves as an organized digital database of  information relevant to your managerial duties.

Among the most helpful attributes of the app is the ease with which information can be sorted, saved, entered, deleted, or accessed. In this regard, Property Manager proves every bit as useful to a typical homeowner as it is to an owner of several rented homes or apartments.

Supplementing building information with images of the properties, the Property Manager app helps to combine tenant and lease information as well as the cumulative and individual operating expenses unique to each building, home, or additional property.

Other helpful features include:

  • Calculate positive or negative cash flow per unit
  • Keep tabs on rent or other monies owed
  • Create work orders and associate them with individual properties
  • Maintain and revise tenant list
  • Export property information to an Excel spreadsheet

Despite no shortage of headaches common to property management, Property Manager helps mitigate the stress born of the multitude of organizational duties inextricably linked to any property management venture. Undoubtedly convenient and simple to use, Property Manager will find a friend in anyone juggling the myriad tasks common to any landlord.

Property Manager requires the iPhone OS 3.0 or later and is compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch.

I don’t seee anywhere in this app that I can keep up with rent paid/owed. That to me is more important than work orders. I would like to be able to emter the date of rent received and set reminders to contact tenants regarding overdue rent. I have several properties and with this app I have to write down so much that I am unable to put in this app. Am I just missing it because I see in this review that you can “keep up with rent paid…”. Please advise. Thank you.

I too find it absolutely necessary to keep track of rent owed and paid. I too find that more important than work orders. Please add that to this app. Added to the rest of the tools would make this app excellent.
