Cell Minute Tracker for AT&T, developed by PageOnce, Inc., helps you control your phone expenses and ends the worry of overage charges. This app uses the existing sign-on information for your AT&T wireless account and delivers up your statement information effortlessly. No matter where you are – you can find out your account status in seconds.
The display is easy to understand. You start out with green bars showing your progress towards your plans’ allowed usage with anytime, night and weekend and mobile- to-mobile minutes. Cell Minute Tracker for AT&T also lets you know how many (if you have them) rollover minutes will be expiring. You see this information as a group (with all of your lines) or you can click to get specific usage on individual lines. When you look at the individual line view you can see the message count and data usage.
It’s a great way to keep track of your children’s cell phone usage and offers an excellent opportunity to teach your older children about personal responsibility. Have them download the app and encourage them to go in and check their own stats. I can assure you I will be doing that for my sons.
You can receive push alerts and emails if you reach 90% of any of your plans’ limits – SMS, Data or Minutes. You’ll also receive push alerts and emails (and the bar turns red) if you exceed the limits of any of your plans. Hopefully, with the ability to monitor and manage your minutes you’ll keep your bars in the green.
You also have the ability to view the current invoice and you will receive an alert five days before your next bill is due. You can connect online and pay it. This is just another way Cell Minute Tracker makes your life easier.
This app can save you money and is a must have for every AT&T customer. Like most free apps, there is a little space devoted to ad images. You’ll see one ad when you sign on and a small banner ad at the bottom of the screen. Since the app is free, and valuable, I didn’t find them out-of-line.
Cell Minute Tracker for AT&T is compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch and requires iPhone OS 3.0 or later. Note: Minute Tracker is now available for O2 in the U.K. and Rogers in Canada.
