Peacemaker Makes Decision-Making Easy, but Expensive

Price: $1.99    Score: 6/10    By Shaun Campbell Peacemaker

Peacemaker – as the name suggests – is an app that helps you settle little disputes and arguments. Developed by Maverick Digital Works, Peacemaker is essentially a little digital roulette wheel that harnesses the power of randomness to make the call when you’re lost for choice.

Say you have a decision to make and there are four possible options. All are of equal weight to you, so which do you choose? Simply adjust the settings in Peacemaker to reflect the options available, then give wheel a spin with a flick of your finger. The wheel will whizz around and eventually stop on a panel – decision made! Easy.

While a novel idea for little everyday decisions like what brand of socks to buy, or in social situations where you just can’t decide between pepperoni and supreme – I do think this is over-priced at $1.99. Yes, it is executed nicely, and the graphics and animation are solid – but it really doesn’t have enough functionality to justify the current price.

Peacemaker requires the 2.2.1 software update and is compatible with both the iPhone & iPod Touch.
