iShake Gives Your Arm a Workout

Another day, another novelty iPhone app. At least this one is original. iShake from Jormy Games involves shaking your iPhone as hard as you can, as fast as you can until the virtual “bottle” pops. The less time it takes you, the better your score. According to the developer, 11 seconds is easy to achieve, 8 seconds will require “intense movements” and anything under 5 seconds is supposed to get you some kind of prize if you post a video on youtube.

The graphics and effects in iShake are OK. Nothing special. The screen changes color from blue to red as you get closer to blowing the top, and then a whole bunch of little blue circles spew out of the top like like soda from a shaken bottle.

iShake will give your arm a right-good workout for about a minute – but the novelty wears of this app wears off pretty quickly.

iShake requires the 2.0 software update and is compatible with the iPhone & iPod Touch
