Keeping track of different bank account and credit card information can be tough, not to mention remembering all the passwords for online accounts and memberships that seem to pop up everywhere.

SafeWallet, an app created by SBSH Mobile Software, is a great way to keep all of your personal account information securely on your iPhone or iPod Touch. I want to emphasize the word secure here; the idea of putting passwords and credit card info on a cell phone makes some people squeamish, but SafeWallet uses the most powerful AES 256 encryption available, along with an automatic wallet lock to keep everything you input completely safe.

The interface is very clean and user-friendly. SafeWallet supports multiple wallets, each of which is password protected. The information you enter into your wallet is divided into folders, like business, credit card, family, or personal. Any information you might possibly need, from passwords and account numbers to contact information, is easily accessible and organized.

Creating a new, personalized folder and card is simple. SafeWallet offers a variety of templates to choose from, including driver license, car info, lens prescription, frequent flyer account, and even clothing size. Deleting or editing a folder or card is as simple as three taps.

Personally, I think the website template is particularly useful. I’d never forget my ATM PIN, and I’m not the type of person that has tons of credit cards and various bank accounts. But I am a member of several forums, I do business with a decent number of websites, and I have quite a few blogs. Each of which, of course, requires a user name and password. I’ll be honest; sometimes I can’t even remember the URL I need to go to in order to log in! Keeping up with all my online goings-on is enough to make the SafeWallet app plenty useful for me.

SafeWallet has a really straight-forward design that makes it easy to start using right away. Each folder and card has an professional-looking icon that makes it easy to find what you’re looking for at a glance.

For an additional $5.95, you can get the SafeWallet PC Companion, which allows you to sync your wallets on your iPhone and Windows PC and provides an easier way to edit and manage your content on your computer.  For $5.99, SafeWallet is a great way to keep any and all of your private account info in one secure place.
